As detailed on the website and application portal, submissions on the
Ferrari apprenticeship website are speculative and do not indicate that
there is a position available.
The rules on completing apprenticeships in the UK for non-citizens are
constantly subject to change, but typically the person must have the
right to be in the UK for the full duration of the apprenticeship (3+ years
for Light Vehicle Technicians).
Although people have moved into Formula 1 following working in a
Ferrari dealership it is not the typical and most direct route, that would
include university degrees and / or placements within F1 teams.
Jobs in the automotive sector and apprenticeships can be found listed in
a wide range of different places, some of the key ones include;

All salaries are in-line with the UK minimum wage legislation, however
many employers pay far better than this.
We expect good grades, specifically a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade
4 (C) or better, and including English, Maths and Science. It is important
to understand that apprenticeships are not an easy route and require a
level of effort and application throughout.
As you have seen, the first step includes applying online and submitting
your CV / résumé. From here the process can vary for each dealership
or employer, however it will typically involve an initial telephone call (or
calls) followed by an in-person interview and assessments. In addition,
for technical positions it could include a work trial in the workshop with
experienced technicians.
Ferrari dealerships are inundated with a plethora of high-quality
candidates. For this reason, we look for people who are passionate,
motivated and are looking to seize the opportunity of a lifetime. On top of
this we look for people who will integrate well with the established team
and push themselves to be the best that they can be.
While there is no official obligation to offer a full-time role on
completion, it is normal to get an offer from the employer as they have
invested in you and spent a lot of time and effort on you. Job offers are
made to the majority of completers.
